The Met Gala Best and Worst

The Theme for the Met Gala this year was 'China: Through the Looking Glass' at first glance it would seem to be lots of gold and reds, flowers, soft flowing materials and intricate head pieces. Although this year many chose not to follow the dress code and the ones that did...... lets just say they didn't pull it of very well. So instead of doing just best and worst dressed I'm going to have a third category for the ones who in my opinion were well dressed but didn't quite fit the  theme. 

Best Dressed 

 Beyonce the dress is so delicate 

Amal Clooney for her first time at the Met she blew it out the park, the dress is unique but manages to encapsulate the theme in a simple manner. 

Brie Larson, Courtney Eaton, And Annabelle Wallis put a british twist to the theame but still check all the boxes with the gold, intrcate head Pieces.

Kate Hudson stunner in gold!!

Rihanna the Met is all about big and bold, she captures the theme perfectly and pulls of the colour so well considering it such a difficult one to do.

Kim Kardashian looks elegant and beautiful in this figure hugging dress 

Kendall Jenner looked like an emerald beauty, in the dress that fit her to a T.

Cara Delevigne always throws in her own unique twist to what she wears and the tattoos bring her outfit together so well. Definitely one of my favourites of the night!!

Kerry Washington its really odd seeing Olivia Pope in something this not monochrome but, the dress reminds me of cherry blossoms. Its a blood choice but it works!!  

Worst Dressed 

Anne Wintour's dress is most defiantly wearing her.

Chloe Sevigny talk about trying to hard to fit the theme, that it just doesn't work.

Solange Knowles its not space age is it? What was she thinking.

Sarah Jessica Parker way way WAY to much going on with this, if the dress was simpler then it would have been spot on.

Jennifer Connelly the shoulder pads make the dress look s though its to big for her :/

Anne Hathaway looks like she had a dip in a bath of melted gold and walked onto the carpet.  

The Extras 

 Chloe Moretz choose a simple chic look that doesn't fit the theme but looks devine on her. 

Imogen Poots I love the dress what more can I say.

Lily Collins its trying to fit with the flowers but i have to say its a mss with the shirt but everything else about this look is perfect.
